The Public Service Commission (PSC) has, in compliance with Sections 9(b) and 10(1) of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act (Amendment 2015), invited shortlisted candidates for the two positions of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) members to attend interviews starting tomorrow, Tuesday 28th September at the Commission House in Nairobi. At the same time, PSC has also invited members of the public to avail to it any information of interest on any of the shortlisted candidates to its office by close of business today.
The Commission shortlisted 21 candidates who will face the panel on three different days to secure the opportunity to serve in the anti-graft agency. The two positions fell vacant following the resignations of Commissioners Dabar Abdi Maalim and Rose Mghoi Macharia.
The shortlisted are John K. Kirui, Joan A. Machayo, Lawrence Nyalle, Halima A.O. Shuria, former Postmaster General Enock O. Kinara, Rukia Atikiya and Elizabeth N. Munene-Muchane, who will be interviewed on Tuesday, while Nancy W. Karimi, Abdiaziz S. Maad, Faith W. Waigwa, former Supkem Secretary General Adan Wachu Bulle, Mary M Mutuku Ndeto, former journalist Richard Chacha Boke and Florence N. N. Muinde will face the panel on Wednesday 29th Sept. 2021.
Lucy W. Kinuthia, Richard O. Oduor, Monicah W. Muiru, Paul S. Lenkume, Stellah I. Onyiego, Alfred M. Mshimba and Abdihadid A. Yallow will be interviewed on Thursday 30th September, 2021.
The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the PSC, Harambee Avenue Nairobi at those days and at different times between 8.30am-3.30pm as indicated, the Commission said in a notice on its website. Candidates are to report be at the venue at least 15 minutes before the starting time and bring with them originals of their academic, professional and clearance certificates as well as testimonials as per the advert.
As part of public participation the Commission has invited members of the public to avail any credible information of interest relating to any of the candidates, in a sworn affidavit, to Secretary, Public Service Commission, 4th Floor Commission House, Harambee Avenue, or online through hodrands@publicservice,go.ke by close by today, Monday 27th September, 2021.
